Hills Coffee is a small family-run business, established in 2019. We are based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Hills Coffee offers a unique selection of high-quality product going beyond what the market in Switzerland offers. Our goal is to respond to consumers’ wishes for authentic and richly flavored coffee.
We roast the coffee beans at our facility in Cressy, Confignon.

QUALITY COFFEES FROM DIFFERENT REGIONS
Our selection includes a variety of high quality coffees from different regions of the world. In particular, we offer an exceptional coffee from Rwanda.
I am myself originally from a coffee-growing region of Rwanda where my family had plantations. One of my earliest childhood memories is the delicious smell of roasting coffee when visiting my grandmother on her farm. My passion for coffee started at a very young age!
Many years later, while working as a banker in Switzerland, a colleague and I had the idea of opening a gourmet coffee business. We were unhappy with the lack of high quality coffee on the market, and decided that it was time to do something about it! We began to study the process of small scale coffee roasting and blending in order to be able to offer a more authentic product to consumers.
THE NAME"HILLS COFFEE"
We chose the name Hills Coffee because the principal source of our Rwandan coffee is a mountainous region where it is cultivated at an altitude of 2000 – 2200 m.
Since 2008, Rwanda is part of the “Cup of Excellence” group of countries, renowned for their superior coffees.
Rwanda’s climate is ideal for coffee growing because it is temperate all year round.
